I believe the 2026 election in Maine is the most crucial in my 40 years in this beautiful state. Our taxes are too high. Businesses are so over-regulated they can hardly do anything without a government bureaucrat having to approve it.
Our young people are fleeing the state for greener grass elsewhere. Our opportunities here are too low.
This is my seventh book and my third book about the wonderful state of Maine. I have written this book to start a conversation, before the 2026 election, about solutions to the issues we face. From our double-the-national-average electricity rates to a tax-burden that is second highest in the nation, this book provides the issue, the solution, how we got here and most importantly, what will be the benefit if we have the courage to enact these changes.
