Political Action Committees are running ads saying Senator Susan Collins – in an effort to support President Trump – voted to cut health care funding

Collins voted against the Big Beautiful Bill because it cut Medicaid funding and specifically cut the Provider Tax, a mechanism hospitals use to fund themselves and stay open
Collins even admitted that the Provider Tax is not a good plan, but it is the plan we have in place and she could not vote to undermine it
