Who Actually Cares About the Palestinians?
No, I want to know the answer to this. Genuinely. Because it looks like most pro-Palestinian organization don’t care about the Palestinians and their actual problems (poverty, culture of martyrdom, propaganda, systemic hatred, complete disregard for the rights of women and LGBT peoples), they just care about hating Israel. The politicians in congress or the UN certainly don’t, no matter how much some pretend to. Their only purpose is to use the Palestinians in their war against Israel.
It seems like even the UNRWA doesn’t care, since they are the ones who refuse to listen to viable solutions to solve the Palestinian refugee crisis….as they are not interested in solving said crisis.
Mahmoud Abbas doesn’t care either. This shouldn’t surprise anyone considering he has incited hatred against Israel through propaganda, lies, and a culture of martyrdom where killing an Israeli gets one a salary for life. But in the wake of the UN Human Rights Council demanding Israel be held accountable for allegedly targeting children on purpose, one must remember that Mahmoud Abbas doesn’t care.
Now before I get into Abbas, I want to explain the situation at the border when Israel killed over 100 terrorists for trying to get bombs across into Israel to … you know … kill people. Hamas [a Palestinian Sunni-Islamist fundamentalist organization.] was utilizing civilians and children. They brought children to the border, which could be designated as a war zone, on purpose.
That’s a war crime right there. Israel, who literally never targets children, ever, is apparently guilty of war crimes for targeting children. Hamas, which brought said children to a zone which they knew was going to be dangerous and where people were being killed…is completely without blame. At this point I’m not shocked. But I am still annoyed by the hypocrisy and disgusting ignorance of Hamas’s role in this conflict.
As for Mahmoud “President for life” Abbas, in 2013 when the Syrian Civil War was in full swing, a bunch of Palestinians in the war-torn nation were asking for the opportunity to escape Syria and go into the Palestinian Authority. Israel said sure, just sign a pledge saying you don’t have a right to return to Israel and you’re good to go. Mahmoud Abbas would not allow them to come. Mr. Abbas told a group of Journalists “…it’s better they die in Syria than give up their right of return.” Let’s clarify first that there is no right of return. Palestinians never had Palestinian citizenship, never had a Palestinian country. But that’s not the point. The point is that Abbas rejected this, and 2,771 Palestinians have died since the start of all of this.
Hamas and Abbas don’t care about the lives of the Palestinians or even the right of return. They only care about the destruction of Israel and its time everyone realized that.
